very nice - this and prev. post... while my natural inclination is towards the more neutral tones, i like the more vivid ones as well...also like the markings - can i ask, how do you decide what the markings will look like
the markings kind of decide for themselves. i make little half circles and fill them in accordingly. its kind of intuitive. each bowl has different throw rings, no profile is exactly like the one before it. so no marks are ever the same.
hope that answer doesn't sound flaky. its been a long night.
you know, that's a great answer and in retrospect, exactly the kind of answer i should have expected - they are unique and look good - esp. when you see the pieces side by side w/their slight variations...
