I will be at the Orange Art Center this weekend selling my work. Friday's Preview Party has a $5 admission charge at the door. Saturday does not have the charge. The admission along with a portion of the artists' sales go to benefit the Orange Art Center. Located in Pepper Pike, this organization provides arts programming for children, teens and adults. Please stop by and check it out.

The open studio at the Lake Erie Screw Factory is this Saturday, May 9th from 4-9pm. The front entrance on Athens will be open. I have lots of new work as well as seconds sale items.

i am hoping to begin classes and some artsy crafty diy parties in my studio very soon. please email me at artzy_grl@yahoo.com with "art class" in the title so you don't end up in spam! i will send out an email when i am all organized.

these classes will be in addition to my courses i teach at art house (http://www.arthouseinc.org/). they begin mid sept and include beginning wheel throwing on monday nights and intermediate/advanced wheel throwing on tues nights. both classes run from 6:30-8:30. in addition the advanced class is offered for one-credit hour at ashland university. its perfect for art teachers looking to expand studio skills.

p.s. i'm still planning that open studio. promise!

Snow Day!

Therefore the perfect day to premiere new artwork. This is from a line of jewelry I am working on. Stoneware pendants (unglazed on the backs). They are stamped with Indian textile stamps. I hope to have lots of them for my Orange Art Center Show as well as my show at Local Girl on Friday, May 23rd.

Bela Dubby Holiday Art Sale

This Saturday, December 8th from 10-7. An artist's reception for their current show will be coinciding with the sale from 4-7. Bela Dubby is located at 13321 Madison Ave.(just west of 117th, Lakewood, OH).
